Steve Yates, age 78 of Madison, AL passed away January 2nd 2026. Steve had a great sense of humor and was a Veteran of US Army serving in the Vietnam War.
Survivors include wife Catherine Yates; son Wescott Flaherty; grandchildren Caitlynn Chitwood , Logan Ward; brother Roger Yates; sister Donna Bishop and several nieces and nephews.
Steve was preceded in death by son Brian Yates and daughter Leia Ward.
