Vicky Cimatu-Adcock

With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Vicky Cimatu-Adcock, a devoted mother, grandmother, faithful Christian, and beloved friend. Vicky, 73, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026, leaving a legacy of kindness, strength, faith, and service.

Vicky’s greatest joy was caring for her children and being lola to her grandchildren. She is the reason the home is always filled with laughter, delicious food, heartfelt conversations, and inspirational encouragement to pursue dreams, stay close to God, and treat others with compassion.

She first built a life with her husband, Dante Cimatu, grounded in faith and sacrifice as they raised their children together. After his untimely passing, Vicky courageously raised young children on her own. Later, she married David Adcock, whose love and support helped the family immigrate to Texas, where they flourished. Vicky built a successful career in the banking industry while guiding her children toward successful and loving families of their own.

Through every season of life, her faith in God remained steadfast. After her second husband’s passing, she settled in Alabama where she established herself and became a respected leader in her community, known for bringing people together and helping others without hesitation. Friends and family will remember her joyful laughter, wisdom, elegance, and loving heart.

Vicky is preceded in death by her parents, Victorino and Gertrudis Calano; her sister Marilyn Calano; husband Dante Cimatu; second husband David Adcock.

She is survived by her children and their spouses: Daniel and Laura (late wife), Dante and Yenny, Donna and Jose, and Shermaine and Val; her grandchildren Lizzie, DJ, Angelina, Adriana, Javi, Bella, Mateo, Mia, and Maya; her siblings Mary Grace Lacanaria, Joseph Calano, Mary Jane Calano, and Raymond Calano.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and joyfully remembered.

The Memorial Service will be held on May 18, 2026, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM.
